ISICo from Past to Present:

From: The President of ISICo

In November 1987
I started a small company called Industrial Automation.  It was by all means a small endeavor with
the simplest of business plans.  We provide OEM customers with the controls that they need with the brands they are
comfortable using. We quickly expanded into manufacturing custom machine building for these OEM customers.  Our
customers found that by having us build their complete system, they had a  "one stop - solution" and allowed them to
concentrate on development and marketing.

In mid 1992 advanced away from this model and focused on what was becoming our core business.  The design, build
and implementation of control systems for warehouse distribution.  This is a fun business and we both enjoy and
appreciate it.   It's people are friendly and usually highly energetic.   Adrenalin runs high in the real time world of data
acquisition for cross dock.
We have been fortunate to be in a position where we can justify our projects by the simple
implementation of our systems.  It is an industry of constant change.   With new technology and logistics emerging,
business shows no signs of slowing anytime soon.

In mid 2002 the decision was made to once again build OEM products at our facility.  We are going to qualify our
customers, a step we regret not taking in the late 80's, and as for what we build, well lets just say the more
complicated and difficult it is the more we like it.  Our intent is not to be your research and development department.
Unless we are getting paid to do just that.  Too many customers today design equipment, let others build them, and
then blame those that built it when it physically could not work, (been there, done that!).  We will analyze what we see
in drawings before any agreement is reached.  Concerns about your products feasibility, operational concepts and
functionality maybe raised.  Controls aspects will be discussed and functional operations will be predefined.  These
issues will  be addressed.   We will ask some tough questions about performance.  And we will get these answers,
before we proceed.

We have stayed up to date with technology.  It has been running at a blistering rate for the past two decades.  This is
difficult to do, and impossible for a single individual.  ISICo has been innovative by employing hardware, software and
personnel groups together to provide a hybrid solution.  We find that in todays world this is mandatory.   Our product
lines that we have developed over the years like the Greyhound Series 7 Sorter Controller, Quick Mosaic, dNet, eNet
and pDIO have been developed with our very low profile, hard code and support group.  The "Wolf Pack" as it has been
affectionately nicknamed by one of it's members, was started and is quietly maintained by ISICo.   Chances are some of
our customers may have worked directly with one of these members never knowing just how good these individuals
really are.  Just a wink and a nod to a member associate as a system comes on line.  They are quite about it, work
tirelessly with other members to overcome obstacles.  They are highly respected among their associates for their
accomplishments and they make a very good living doing exactly what they love to do.  Without any of the high
pressures from the end user.  This is my job.  It is also my job to keep this pack of wolves, on track, to get exactly what
I need, a satisfied customer.

It is very important to us to have a good relationship with our customers.  Not only from a professional aspect, but on
a personal level as well.   We will need to have good communication and organization skills, with a time line that is
predefined.  Lets  make our mistakes on the drawing board and not in the field!   If we work together with
professionalism, patience, Integrity and diligence your customers are going to be very happy.

After you have read about ISICo and you find that you are interested,  I'd like to hear from you.  Thank you.
Sincerely
James R Aulgur
